Keri Hilson's Video 'Pretty Girl Rock' adheres to all five aspects of Goodwin's Theory and in particular this video focuses on narrative and performance as well as technical aspects. In terms of narrative and performance the artist has put herself into the video and dressed up as different female musical icons and goes in chronological order to show the past and present female artists she admires. In terms of technical aspects some shots were edited to look as if they were filmed in different eras to make the scenes look authentic.
Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' video also adheres to Goodwin's theory and in this video narrative and performance is definitely focused on as the video is over thirteen minutes long also star image is focused on as Michael Jackson is frequently shown in the video through the use of close up shots.
